CHILDREN'S FARM
There's something so charming about a wedding that feels completely different, and Collingwood Children's Farm delivers that in spades. Just minutes from Melbourne city, but the second you walk in through those cottage-style gardens, you'd swear you were somewhere far more rural. Add in a rustic barn for the reception and animals wandering around for guests to enjoy, and you've got one of the most unique, personality-filled venues I've had the pleasure of shooting.
And this couple? Clearly meant to be. The kind of pair who adored each other completely, in that easy, unmistakable way that makes every photo feel real rather than posed. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they'd put together the most incredible celebration — something different, something a little unexpected, and completely, unapologetically them.
Between the barn, the gardens and a few curious farm animals making cameos throughout the day, there was honestly never a dull moment behind the camera. Days like this are exactly why I love what I do — when a couple's venue choice says just as much about them as their vows do.
