Every so often you photograph a couple who just get it right, and this Balgownie Estate wedding was one of those days. Two of the nicest people you could hope to meet, both high achievers in their own right, who love each other endlessly. Easy and fun to be around, the whole day just flowed.
They wanted all their favourite people there, and Balgownie Estate turned out to be the perfect spot to make that happen. Stunning accommodation meant everyone could stay together and make a proper weekend of it, the food was delicious from start to finish, and that view over the Yarra Valley did is one of the best in the region — vines and rolling hills for as far as you can see.
As a Yarra Valley wedding photographer, I get asked a lot which venues actually deliver on the "picture perfect" promise, and Balgownie Estate is perfection. A Yarra Valley wedding with your closest people, incredible food and views for days — honestly, what more could you want.
